Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

The Baking Playbook ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This page describes what information we collect when you order from us and how we use it. If anything here is unclear, just reply to your order confirmation email — we're happy to help.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Your delivery address (only if you select local delivery).
  • Notes or special instructions you choose to share with us.
  • The items in your order and your fulfillment selection.

Payment is processed by Square. We never see or store your card details. Square's privacy practices are described at squareup.com/privacy.

How we use your information

  • To prepare and fulfill your order.
  • To contact you about pickup or delivery details, or about your order specifically.
  • To send you a confirmation receipt and, if you opted in, occasional updates about new flavors and weekly drops.
  • To keep internal records for taxes, accounting, and operations.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your personal information.
  • We don't share your delivery address with anyone other than the person delivering your order.
  • We don't add you to marketing emails unless you check the opt-in box at checkout.

Marketing emails

Our marketing email list is opt-in only. If you change your mind, every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us directly to be removed.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses small browser-storage features ("cookies" and local storage) to remember your cart between visits. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax and operational purposes. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing us — we'll honor reasonable requests.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, update, or delete the personal information we have about you. Email us and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Updates to this policy

We may update this page as our practices evolve. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
